In this photograph, the boy on right with the Peter Pan hat is Peter Gates, a classmate of Marion Wood who authored “All About Hamburg”, and the girl in the red on the right is his sister Pamela Gates. Both children attended Hamburg school and lived across the street from the Castle in a company house. Their father was a Vice President at Plastoid, which had taken over ownership of the Castle.
