The Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Historic Fund

The mission of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery Historic Fund is to promote and advance the welfare of the Sleepy Hollow Cemetery of Tarrytown. The Cemetery is on the Register of National Historic Landmarks.  The National Register is administered by the National Park Service, and is the country’s official list of United States historic sites considered “worthy of preservation.”  Addition to the Register “honors the property by recognizing its importance to its community, State, or the Nation.”

Joseph Urban is at rest at Sleepy Hollow.
